How To Use Washi Tape To Make A Cute Valentine Card

Need a super cute Valentine Card?

No worries! I've got a simple solution. All you need is:

  • Wax Paper

  • Washi Tape

  • Stencil

  • Card Stock.

Listed below are the steps on how to use washi tape to make a super cute Valentine's Day Card. 

Step one:  

Gather 4 or 5 different washi tapes and create a color story. For the card I created, I used the black and white flower tape as inspiration. Added a few black and white washi tapes and a solid pink roll of washi tape.

Step Two:

Stick strips of the washi tape onto the wax paper. This may be difficult if your washi tape doesnt have that much stick to it. So take your time with this step and layer the tapes if necessary. 

Step Three:

Draw over your washi tape pattern with a stensil.  I used a heart cookie cutter to trace around. If you feel adventurous, you can skip this step and free hand a heart shape.  

 

Step Four:

VERY Gently cut out, positon,  and stick the heart shape to your card. 

Easy right?
