First Week of December

I have a hard time staying on task and getting stuff done.
Pretty much every morning, I wake up full of determination, my to-do list in hand, ready to tackle the day. Somewhere along the way, I fall into a rabbit hole with something totally unrelated to what I had initially set out to do. I look at the time and notice that my day was wasted and I didn’t get anything done on my to-do list. (*womp womp) Then I the irritability sets in… I feel frustrated, lazy, and generally down in the dumps.
It’s sad to say that this cycle repeats more often than I’d like to admit.
Thankfully, I found a simple little system to help with my time management and to send me affirmations to keep my mindset positive and forward-thinking.
This system is basically setting up multiple alarms on my phone. I walk you through the steps in the video. Basically, this system is adding alarms and edit the “label” to the task you need to accomplish or an affirmation to send yourself. So simple it’s genius!

Today I painted! It felt great to feel a paint brush in my hand and to squish paint around on a canvas! I plan on painting again tomorrow. 🧡
Why is it that we stop doing the things we love? Maybe it’s to fall in love with it all over again when we start it up again.
